"Catnap"- Animatic and Click through board:
The story centers around a cat named Benny who wants to sleep but a dog named Jack obliviously disturbs Benny through silly antics. A proposed 2D animated short inspired by quirks from classic cartoons from the 1930s-1940s. The cat and dog antics are inspired by my pets day to day behavior. For the dining room scene I laid out a 3d set to push some of the scenes further.
